For my 3D assignment I decided to model a Les Paul style Guitar for the purpose of being used as a weapon in a hack and slash game. From the start I knew that as a weapon the neck of the guitar would be held and the body would be used to bash and attack enemies with so I put most of my focus into making the body of the guitar look smooth.
